You were made for this.

It might be not feel like it right now. You may be experiencing really unpleasant symptoms, especially during early pregnancy. (Or not! It's also okay to feel pretty good). You may have worry or fear around the idea of "pushing out an 8 lb bowling ball" or having to undergo an unplanned c-section. What if I can't breastfeed? How will I manage with not sleeping like I've heard it can be with a newborn? Often times partners have their own fears: What if I can't handle seeing birth? What if I pass out? I've never even changed a diaper, how will I know what to do?...

This.is.so.normal.

Our society is actually not very supportive of new parents who want a connected, natural experience of birth and parenthood. Lack of paid parental leave, billion dollar formula marketing budgets, medicalizing a natural bodily process, and piling on unrealistic expectations that deny human biology & psychology set us up for failure. Postpartum depression & anxiety are on the rise. We have a loneliness epidemic, and marriage satisfaction often drops after baby enters the picture.

But we can do better.

Becoming a parent is one of the most transformational experiences out there -- it literally rewires your brain forever. Your whole identity and all of your relationships are likely to be impacted, which can be a really empowering opportunity for personal and relational growth.

If that's the path you choose.

It's not the mainstream path. It will take intention and vulnerability and all that juicy stuff that feels challenging in the moment, but so worth it on the other side.

If you're ready for a more connected & empowered birth, breastfeeding, and new baby experience, welcome.

We're so glad you're here.

The Right Guidance
Can Make All the Difference.

My fiance and I took the 4 hour hypnobirthing course, with Emily at Whole Mama and I can honestly say, in the amount of time spent in this class, I went from being fearful to excited to have my baby come September!

Nikki F.

My husband and I attended Whole Mama's Newborn Care Class. As a first time parents, it was super helpful for us to learn about bathing, feeding, diapering, sleep schedules, how to swaddle, tips and tricks, and more. The class definitely makes us feel more confident for baby's arrival.

I’ve had 2 prenatal massages by Greg--highly recommend! I left feeling completely relaxed during my third trimester!

Baby Registry Help :)

Preparing for a new baby is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming, stressful, and full of decisions that leave you second-guessing yourself.  At Whole Mama Michigan, we take the stress out of registry planning while supporting you as a whole person - mind, body, and family.

Our approach goes beyond checklists. We focus on helping parents feel calm, confident, and prepared, so your baby’s arrival is joyful, not exhausting. Together, we'll create a registry that supports your lifestyle, respects your nervous system, and prepares your home for your growing family.

Prenatal Massage

For mamas in their 2nd and 3rd trimester we recommend a 60 minute massage to release tension, relieve aches and pains, and encourage nervous system regulation. Our therapists will tailor the service specifically to you, incorporating different modalities like craniosacral and energy work, so you receive the most benefit. (WMM founder, Emily, swears she went into labor all 3 times shortly after a massage!)

We also offer Postpartum and Infant Massage.
